Keltbray is showcasing the first of only two lorry-mounted zeck specialised full tension wiring units in the country at Rail Live.

Named ‘The Les Blake 54’ after its designer Leslie Erik Blake, the zeck-unit can run 1200m of both contact and catenary wire at full tension, simultaneously.

Keltbray said combining the zeck with the Keltbray fleet of Lorry mounted MEWPS offers enhanced efficiency and flexibility for the industry.

The company’s newly designed and in-house RRV drilling rig is also on display at Rail Live. With recent product approval, the modular unit is fitted to a highway-permissible lorry.

The rig utilizes a customer-specific, bespoke template and can drill four holes simultaneously to a 250mm dept in under three minutes, Keltbray said.

The drills are mounted on a 360-degree rotating head and operated by the wireless remote-control unit.

Keltbray is also giving visitors the chance of winning an Amazon tablet at its stand. The winner will be drawn at the end of day two.

Rail Live, which takes place on June 21-22, attracts more than 5,000 rail professionals a year, representing all aspects of the rail industry.
