Vac-Ex showcase latest towable vacuum excavators

Vac-Ex will be bringing its Air-Vac, T-Vac 2 and 360 Vac excavator-mounted units to Rail Live tomorrow.

The company said the units solve the problem of safe digging in restricted access areas and the turbine and filtration design encourage a high level of vacuum.

A spokesperson at Vac-Ex said: “Feedback from our customers has stated that the use of our machines, is on average four times faster than hand digging, with a huge reduction in muscular and skeletal stress.

“All units are light enough to be towed to site behind a transit van or pick up and can be tracked through the tightest of locations.”

Rail Live, which takes place on June 21-22, attracts more than 5,000 rail professionals a year, representing all aspects of the rail industry.
